WELCOME

WHO AM I?

I’m Victoria Thomas and I’m a patient and public involvement specialist with nearly 30 years’ experience, working across public and voluntary sector organisations.

I’m a highly skilled leader and strategist, with a deeply practical approach to ensuring people’s lived experience is at the heart of healthcare research, governance, delivery and policy.

I know what works in involvement and engagement with people and communities, both from what the research evidence tells us, but also through my years of hands-on experience.

I have worked for many years in the regulatory sector focusing on involvement in health technology assessment (HTA) and guideline development, and across a range of voluntary and community sector organisations. My experience includes working directly with people with lived experience, and with the organisations that support them.

I am also someone who lives with a number of long-term conditions, so my experiences of managing these and navigating the healthcare system always inform my professional work.

WHAT CAN I OFFER?

I can provide you with a tailored package of support, built on your needs and the skills and experience I can offer you.

If you think I can help with planning or delivering your organisation’s involvement and engagement work, or with individual projects, please get in touch.
